We're Not Out Of The Woods - Raffle!

You've probably noticed that I've been pretty quiet lately. I have posted a little on Twitter, but my YouTube has been rather unattended.

Stress, my friends, is a cold-blooded murderer of creativity.

Unless it's stress about deadlines. then for some backwards reason it almost seems to breed creativity for me.

But this isn't about deadlines, it's about real life. It's about hoping the lawyer will be able to shut a case that's proven to be literally nothing but a pain in the butt to us for really no reason. It's about a lot of uncertainty at work. It's about family illness. And almost most strongly, it's about being two months away from freedom of this house nightmare. Two months, that we need to get through and we'll, be able to put this whole crap behind us.

The management company we hired tells us they have 22 applicants for renting the house and god willing, we'll be able to get one or two, if not all four, in before the end of that time. Because that means the house will essentially be self-sustaining after the trial payments are made. We won't be scraping or doing side jobs to make sure it's not foreclosed on etc and maybe, MAYBE, we might even be able to make a little profit off of it, but at this point, I'd honestly be happy to just break even every month.

But we've got two more months of trial payments ahead of us and that means two more months of hell. Two more months of higher than normal bs that we have to pay off on our own. So close and also so far away.

So thanks to the generosity and help of two amazing Curiosities, I'm going to be holding a series of raffles to help raise money that will make the next two months a little easier.

You don't actually need to donate to enter once.

If you want to enter your name into a raffle more than ONCE, donate 5 or more dollars here.

If you donate OVER 5 dollars, entries will be counted in increments of 5. For example, if you donate $20, this will count as 4 entries in your name.  Please also in the notes of the friends/family part let me know how best to contact you so I can get your prize to you etc if your name is picked that week.

This week (4/12 - 4/19) we're holding a raffle for....

Nidhogg
Nidhogg is the epic award-winning fencing tug-of-war, full of graceful acrobatics and clumsy stabs. IRL yelling and excitement may occur, in this ultimate two-player showdown of fast-paced fencing and melee attacks.

AND

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light!
Take control of Lara and her new partner Totec, a Mayan tribesman, and uncover the ancient artifact known as the "Mirror of Smoke" in this all new action adventure game.

Remember, both games, like all that I'll be giving away (unless otherwise stated) is a STEAM game.

Again, to enter:

  • Comment below with your favorite quote.
AND/OR
The winner will be announced EOD on 4/19 through here and twitter and will take home BOTH games. Once a winner has been selected, we'll talk privately so you can send me your STEAM handle so I can gift the games to you.

Thank you again for all your help, and I hope to see you this weekend where I'll be streaming some Kingdom Hearts I.
